Quick, and easy place to turn in your collected metals for recycling. Located on Doolittle Drive in San Leandro near the Oakland Airport which is a busier industrial street. When you pull into their gate doors, know that they do a really heavy loads so there are a lot of big trucks being offloaded by guys on forklifts, so you have to come alert of your surroundings. They do not accept aluminum cans or plastic bottles!

HORRIBLE PLACE! I was told on phone that they take cans n plastics, I go there, it's huge & UNORGANIZED, HAZMAT VIOLATIONS IN PLAIN SITE. After pulling into 3 of their driveways, I finally get where I need to be, BUT ITS 4:08PM!! I beg them to please help, I explained I was giving the run-around by 3 of their employees, & it's important I get gas cuz I'm stranded..I begged!! I was close to tears!! I'm usually bitchy, but I NEEDED THEM! IM including pics w the guy's face, I hope he gets fired. And a screenshot of the time as I stood begging. Now I'm crying, n stranded.

If you are bringing large items of scrap iron you need to go thru the gate on Doolittle and follow traffic in a circular track that will lead you to the scale and one car at a time on the scale, while waiting in line ask the yard guys were you should dump your scrap after being weighted saves you time when you are done getting weighted and if you are turning in aluminum or plastic you need to go and park your car on Davis and grab a cart or can then go inside .

I went to the metal supply shop, not the recycling center. They were great. Serviced immediately, and I asked for the wrong stuff. When I came back they redid my order for me without any complaints or comments. They helped me load and off I went. I would definitely recommend them.
