Purchased transmission from Lewis and had a shop tell me it was bad. They refused to take it back and said it was good and that I must have damaged it. Had to pay $800 to get it rebuilt and put in. Will never go here again and tell everyone I know to stay away! Not my first bad experience. Have called for other parts before, drove from another town only for it to not be there. They don’t keep great inventory and prices aren’t the best either.

We got ripped off on everything that we took in do not go to TVM go to any other recycling place in the valley except for that because you're going to get ripped off do not even think of bring in a catalytic converter in there because they'll really screw you. Go anywhere but there I promise you you will not be disappointed if you go to TVM you will be greatly disappointed no rip you off and undercut you

Showed up, weighted in, processed to back up to the spot to dump. An employee caught me and said it’s closing time you need to leave. (It would of take 3 minutes to unload.) I will never be back, there’s other places that are customer oriented in town.

This car part store owns the carwash next-door, I paid for an eight dollar wash, the machine only did half of my car half of the time, the foam and sprays out barely makes it to the car and it’s just a very poor service. When I explained it to the people at the car part store, the response I got was oh I’m sorry and here’s a four dollar coupon for your next car wash, no discussion of a refund. Don’t use this car wash.

I've been going to this Portland Avenue scrap yard since I was around 4yrs old with my father when it was called Kriegers.... I stopped by today (1-22-21) and dropped off a load of scrap into the back of the yard! As usual the people acknowledge me with a friendly hello and let me unload my dump trailer! They have often asked me if I ever needed help when unloading because of my disability, but that's just the way they are! There all great people there and they really do try to help there customers out. And don't get me started on the cashier who is always in a great mood and has a smile on her face as long as you are polite! Just really nice people there that do a great job!

(Call Northside Salvage Yard for vehicle removal. They are getting my car in a hour or two also it's amazing) this is only towards towing...Tow department does not pick ur car up when they say sat around for a day while they claimed they were still coming then at 4pm said they can get to it tomorrow before 10am. So I called at 840am, oh we can't get there till the afternoon. After telling them 4 days ago I have no wheels on the car wasn't a problem then, the one guy says u must of talked to someone else cause he won't send a truck to pick it up w out wheels.

Bait and switch qoute....Had a small pile of clean #1 copper to recycle. Called and asked current value they are paying? Reply: $2.08 per pound. Headed over and weighed copper in at 69 lbs. Waited in line 10 minutes at window to get receipt to and scan outside cash machine to get$$$. That's when I realized they only paid $1.94 per pound . I told the scale guy and he said get back in line to window.... but that's all we pay. The $9.96 shortage won't break me but the bad rap I spread hopefully encourages others to go somewhere else.

I have known Little Wills for thirty years. He still remembers having met me when I was just starting out driving, and trying to keep my cars running on a very bare bones budget. He was always able to help out. His age has kept him out of the shop on most days. My wife, my children and I have made a few recent trips to see him and get some parts. He had the parts and his price was right. We had a good time together as we searched through his wooded junk yard. The overgrown grassy vegetation is nice and lends a wilderness feel to the property. He remains to me one of the nicest people I have ever met. Little Will is never going to go online and read anything, but I would love a chance to tell him that though I am just another satisfied costumer, I deeply valued his friendship over the years.
