Although you might expect a pretty rough experience surrounding a metal recycling center, Bell salvage has consistently provided good, friendly service. The location isn't pretty or clean, but what would you expect from a salvage yard? Even in the yard, the staff has clearly provided information and been friendly. Plus, it's always nice to leave someplace with a little extra cash in your pocket after getting rid of some unwanted trash.

Really bad prices would recommend taking the drive up to Picketts salvage in Paton where i would have got twice as much. Bell salvage was $90/Ton for cast iron and Picketts is $220/Ton at the time of posting this.

They'll take your scrap BEFORE they let you know they aren't going to pay you for it. Shady place, make the trip to Des Moines and go to Alter if you want a fair price.
