Not from the area but had a job close by and rather than driving back and forth to the scrap yard I always use I wanted to find a place Close to the job.. Hart Met Solutions was near by and I’m very happy they were.. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Yard was organized and clean. The lady that runs it was very nice and gave my son a couple ice waters on the house.. Would deff recommend them and when I’m in the area I will deff be stopping in again..

I was told to get a tire from them to replace a tire with a hole in it. They overcharged me and when I brought it to be put on my car, the manager said it was worse than the one they took off! Don't trust them. **To your response to me, I definitely do not have the wrong place.

Very easy to work with. Went down late in the day around 4pm to ask about getting my car picked up from a gas station. They went same day to pick it up when the other junk yards said they could take it sometime in the next two days. They offered an amount in the same ballpark as the other places I called and even let me take a couple things out of it once they got it back to their shop. I would definitely work with them again if the unfortunate circumstance arises that I need their services.

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. Our company vehicle was towed due to being broken down. When we arrived on site the grumpy old lady at the desk, Betty, was the rudest human being I have ever met. I have worked in customet service for over 10 years and never meet someone so rude. She must have a miserable lonely life. She told us we had to sign the title before she would tell us the price of selling the title. She said do you read the alphabet A - Z or Z - A? We were super nice to her. She then told us our son and I had to wait in the car with no explanation. After seeing all the reviews about this place I cannot believe they haven't fired this old miserable lady. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Over priced. Even the small things. Went to buy a rear light cover and it was $100 for 1 side. Got L&R side for $65 elsewhere. I went in person because the lady on the phone kept hanging up on me. She was just as rude in person. And one of the men working there asked if I need help I told him what I was there for and he priced me even lower for just the one side. So I'm not sure whether he wanted to pocket the money or she was pocketing the extra money. So I never went back there again. Let me just say that that was a few years ago and still to this day I don't call or go there at all

Just so ppl know the rude old lady everybody's having a problem with her name is Betty, she is not the owner. They have had my husband's and my car for over a month. I called today to find out how much longer and she had the nerve to tell me the car is done and she has the keys and that the car can be picked up in the morning. Also she said that if I go I have to stay outside the gate because I wasn't allowed on the premises mind you she's not the owner and that vehicle is also in my name. So I will be calling the police and getting a lawyer.

I have been calling this guy for over 1 month to order parts he said he could get them gave me a price I said ok can I pay over the phone he said no I only accept cash still today I have not gotten a call back he won't return my calls I finally got on touch with him and said to me that he's dealing with personal problems am sry to hear that but that's not a good way to run your business ignoring customers calls telling them a month earlier you'll get the parts still no parts no returned phone calls and now this. I had asked if they had junkyard parts online, due to fact they won't allow anyone to freely look around. The office attendant responded to go to carparts.com. I had asked carparts.com if they had a portal to Lajoie's auto & scrapyard for viewing, and the site assistant has no records of Lajoie scrapyard.

I had off and on experiences today I had a good one but last time not so much there very picky so make sure u have everything separated bc they will jerk u with the prices if it's not the guys in the back just have bad attitudes and that really bothers me. U deal with people all day long atleast u can do is b friendly. But also there only open till 4 and most people get out of work at 5. So that blows but it is convenient and I'm pretty sure it's the only one in the valley. So I give it 4 stars

Pretty simple process. The warehouse ramp is real small, and I'm sure if its busy the place would be harder to navigate. The guy running the show was nice enough. I'll definitely go back instead of going to Sims all the time.

If your looking for customer service don't go here. They are very rude people. Go there and the guy said pull up to the pile. I say there for 10min before going back in and asking were to put the items (i had 4 different kinds of metal so I wasn't sure what piles to put them in). I went back in the there was a very rude guy who said to back up to the ramp. I Backed up to the ramp and the other guy says to get off the ramp cuz that metal dosnt go there. They definitely took advantage of me and didn't separate the metals (beside the copper and brass) and for over 300 lbs of 3 different metals i got $30. Such a waste of time. Definitely won't be going back there
