Great place to start car shopping. The have a ton of cars to look at at lots of people to help you. In our case they completely let us alone and we were free to stroll the lots looking at all the cars. The prices are all posted on the cars so no haggling, you know what the price is from the start

My truck was at the end of a lease and I no longer needed a vehicle, but it was in excellent condition. Based on the value of a 2-year-old Toyota Tacoma, I felt that it might be worth something on resale but initially didn't want to go through the hassle of purchasing/reselling. However, the best offer that I could get from the original dealer was to pay them the $300 restocking fee, so I decided to check out CarMax. I started with the online quote, which was way more than I was expecting. As it turns out, the online quote was what they gave me, the process was extremely easy, and the people at CarMax were professional and nice. So...I ended my lease with a $7500 check instead of having to pay $300 to return it. I highly recommend that anyone check them out before getting rid of your vehicle.

The only plus side of this place is they had a car I like and I could test drive with 20 minutes. Other than that, this place was bad. I showed up and was helped quickly, but as I'm talking to the representative, I'm having difficulties finding an insurance document on a website. He walks away, and I don't see him for 20 minutes. Over my time there, this happens 2 more times. Once I finally talked to the business department and got most of the documents filled out, I still had to wait for a tracking number for the check from my credit union so they can do a verbal agreement between the two entities. They offered me their "3 for free" option where I take one of their financing for 3 day with no charge, including no interest payment. They told me I could use that option, give them the tracking number later and that would be enough to switch it over. When i called with the tracking number, they tell me they can't do the switch without the check in hand. I remind them of the agreement the previous day but was just met with denials and a "deal with it" attitude. At that point I would recommend an actual brand dealership like Chrysler or Dodge. At least they have good customer service.
