We are a San Francisco based shop doing business since 2005. I bought and installed an engine sold to me by these guys. As added effort and service to our loyal customers, whenever we install used engines, we clean and reseal them completely. Therefore, we did the same with this installation. Turns out engine is no good with low compression on cylinders 2, 4 and 6. Therefore we disassembled and took back for a refund. To which we were told no refund. Apparently, resealing engines so that you will not have any oil or coolant leaks is punishable by NO REFUND. I tried to explain and you could clearly see the new gaskets all over the engine and still their argument was "how do we know you didn't take parts". Our argument is simple....why would we take parts and then reseal the engine with brand new gaskets that are clearly visible. Makes no sense. Therefore I would like for their customers to know this.....apparently they do not test their items. Be careful when you deal with them as it looks like their sales are more important than customer satisfaction. I would be more than happy to take another engine of the same type but of course they do not have another....so basically money taken for bad product and no refund. Be careful whenever you deal with them.

Very friendly guys good service and the best prices. I got a transmission recently and unfortunately turned out it wasn't any good. Most places will give you a 30-day warranty but they gave me 45 and because I had the problem with the first one they said they would give me 4 months with the next one. I don't see many junk yards doing this. They said that they check all of them and make sure that they work but this one somehow got through because it actually did work for me for a little over a day but that was it. Very frustrating to have to do the whole job over again but they did the right thing and I think they would have still done it if it would been over the 45 day window

This place is a joke drove 3 hours because they told me they had the specific gear ratio rear end I needed for my truck by the time I got home to unload I noticed they gave me the wrong one. 6 hours round trip with useless parts.
