Went in for some coolant and oil, I asked the clerk to look up my make model (old sports car, new to me).
I wanted to make sure I was getting the correct higher tier product, he refused and just pointed me to the coolant and told me the one I "needed".
I asked about a specific oil and he said, "You're on your own man, oils on that wall".
After I left I googled what I needed and ended up with the wrong coolant.
I could of started off with a Google search, but I anticipated NAPA to have the resources and expertise to point me in the right direction.
I like to support brick and mortar stores, and this experience left me wishing I Googled/ordered the fluids online.
The poor service could be perceived a reflection of management and training.
I hope my interaction was a one off.

Very helpful staff. Needed to replace a battery and they helped me find the one I needed quickly. They also helped me get a discount on the battery by getting a couple other items. I guess that was good for them, but good for me as well. I've been here several times and they have always been helpful.
