This was a good experience. The personnel were very helpful. First time there but I will return when I need to.
Man vs Most
I pulled up and pulled right in. The men were completely courteous and polite. They worked as a team to get me in and out fast. I will be taking all of my scrap to this location in the future.

Firstly, let me most highly recommend all of the Maryland Recycle facilities with the upmost honor and appreciation. I am a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army and a prior employee of the Maryland Recycle chain of scrapyards. Both professions I am personally proud to have on my resume. Like the friends i consider family in my military career, so are the coworkers at many of the five locations at the MR companies. Having been a scrapper since an early age my knowledge for the many different metals and their value was sharpened by the many skills i acquired over the 7 or so combined years of employment there. Long happy story short... The brothers and family owned bussiness is to me, simply the only place to cash in my scrap metal. I like the way the business is run, orderly, professional, timely, friendly, and definitely they pay top dollar on your metals, as the market allows. Yup. In/ out. Paid.$$$. Family owned, & operated. If you're in Maryland you should take your scrap to these guys. See you there.

Not a good experience, I can't give them zero stars so one will have to do. This place has a shady reputation and after dealing with them several times I stupidly went back for more Shenanigans today. What they tell you over the phone and what they pay you at the scale are night and day differences. They also say they buy cable tv wire over the phone and then when you get there they tell you that there's not enough copper in cable tv wire to buy it. Apparently it's steel.... and that it's not enough steel to generate a ticket. So they graciously get rid of it for you in their scrap steel pile and give you nothing because you need to have 100 lbs of it to generate a ticket. Imagine if they did this everyday, which I'm sure they do. As I was leaving another customer said that they just "got me". I have given this place several chances but they're always dishonest and shady.
