THEY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO ENTER THE PAYMENT AREA WITHOUT A SURGICAL MASK, EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY UNLOADED!! EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE CALLED AHEAD TO DISCUSS BUSINESS HOURS AND THEY WITHHELD THIS INFORMATION!! THEY WILL HOWEVER LET YOU KNOW THAT THEY CONVENIENTLY SELL THESE MASKS! BE SURE TO BRING A SURGICAL MASK WITH YOU!!
I made it there before 4 PM like Google says, but I couldn't sell the scrap metal that I loaded up and painstakingly brought because the iron yard actually closes at 3:30, not 4:00 like Google says on the open hours list. I guess that is only for when you want to sell aluminum cans or something since you bring those straight to the scale at the window. They are also completely closed on Saturday and Sunday so good luck getting there if you have a normal job. I guess they're making way too much money to even need us 4 to 5 o'clock people.

Places like this are taken for granted. Anytime we have needed to get rid of a mess of rusted or used up metal or appliance, this has been our go-to place. Back up, dump it to the pile & leave. No people, not hard hat & vest necessary. Its NOT for anything - must be some sort of metal. We also recycle crushed soda cans for a modest payout.
