Went for a battery , website boasts about free installation, testing and so on. Asked about battery guy looked it up , started to ring it up , never offered to check my existing battery . I asked about installing it , he said mine took a “special “ tool and recommended a garage to take it to have it done . Never even offered to carry the battery out to my car . I’m an older woman not frail but still should have offered . Battery was installed that night by my son , no special tool needed . Now I have to make another trip to get core charge refunded . Won’t be using this store again

I went in the Seaford store and almost immediately an employee (Josh V.) came to me and asked if he could help me, after getting all I needed, we went to the register and was rung up when I noticed a $59 charge and I asked what that was for? The Employee (Josh V.) then replied, you took this item on a previous day and we were watching you. I said no I didn't take anything I come here all the time check my records. I have spent thousands of dollars here. I became very agitated and paid for the items that I picked up, not the item accused of stealing. I left the store, thought about the accusation and took the merchandise back in that I had just purchased for a refund and told them to remove my name from the system because I won't be back. I was humiliated and angry. They have lost a loyal customer.

Though I am a previous employee of this store, the amount of disrespect that I received entering the store as a CUSTOMER was not ok. Literally went to drop off a sandwich for a friend to eat and got harassed by the employees about my article of clothing. Then the other managers started talking about my personal life and harassed the friend that works there about it as they joined me for an event. This store does not care about their customers enough and disrespecting former employees doesn’t make it right. I like Autozone and the company, but this store has some issues.
