Brought in atleast a thousand pounds of steel, I’m a young guy and didn’t act very assertive and maybe didn’t seem like I knew what I was doing. Guy weighed it out, didn’t show me the weight and then paid me for iron. Got $8 for a load that was atleast worth $60-$70. Total rip-off and dishonest business. DONT GO HERE

I have been taking non-ferrous metals here for a few years now. The paid out price has been fair. But I recently had them deliver a roll-off container for scrap iron, I filled it twice. According to them I had 10,000 lbs total. (Seems to be a little “light” to me) And they were currently paying a penny a pound. So I made a whopping $100.00. But I checked other scrap yards in my area, they were paying between seventeen cents and twenty-two cents a pound. Am I missing something ? As it stands now, I won’t be doing anymore business with them !

This business is not a good place to go if your wanting fair price for your scrap metal. They pay way, way less then anyplace in the area and even if your not ok with what you are going to be paid they will not give you your items back. I was paid less than what they told me that they were going to be paying for what I had taken in. So all in all a pretty dishonest place to do business.

If Google would let me give less than 1 star I would...This is the worst scrapyard! They RIP you off by not paying you for your actual weight and then pays you .60 less per pound on radiators. DO NOT GO THERE!
