Very organized & fast. For smaller scraps/aluminum cans drive to the end of all the bays & stop before the “fried chicken” signage thing. A worker in reflective safety gear should approach you by then. Don’t worry, they are nice & kind of comical in an authentic way.
They will coordinate which bay for you to go to. Follow their instructions & go to your designated bay. There you will be greeted with someone to help. They will weigh everything out & give you ticket. Take the ticket to the east side of the parking lot. The room is small, I preferred to wait outside until the person in front of me was done. The ladies inside are kind & organized. Fast too. Make sure to have a valid form of legal ID.
The aluminum prices are not very generous. You won’t get as much here as other places. But based on my last experience at a place north of Salt Lake where I got ripped off… I was more than happy to accept the cash for the aluminum I brought to Wasatch Metal Recycling.

So a few days ago I got an email that they was having this end of summer promotion & they had a flyer attached with pricing & all these freebies! What an awesome way to bring ‘em to the yard! I ain’t by any means this big recycler, I’m not really familiar with what metal is what. I have to say, this place is the most efficient scrap yard I’ve been to, to date! As soon as I back in to unload I was explaining to the guy that I’m not really sure what I have but I tried to sort it the best I could! Holy cow, they just grabbed all my stuff grabbed their bins, sorted all what I had sorted literally in seconds, it took me days! But wow,, printed out my receipt and cashed out! It was just so simple! This is my new go to!

Not worth visiting here. Had several experiences where I calculated what kind of money I should be seeing based on their pricing on the website and it’s always a quarter of what I estimated. Todays visit was the last one. $1 for a garbage can full of cans.
A truck bed full of aluminum wheels and got $43. A big tote of batteries for $8.
Save your time and shop around for a place that won’t bait you in like here.

The guys that take and weigh the recyclable’s we’re very rude. I have been to Wasatch metals many times but when I backed my truck in 3 guys approached and I think his name was Justin started being very rude and combative so I asked him to leave and let the other 2 guys help me. He refused to walk away. It was a very bad situation for me and my son. Very disappointed- Nice reply- nobody approached me and asked me to stop speeding, Try makeingbsomething else up

I went there today I tried my best to have the metals separated the tall skinny red head guy was not very nice almost as he was annoyed he had to help me. After leaving the warehouse I went to dump off my scrap iron my trailer picked up a large bolt and tire was punctured and went flat. They seemed to not really care.
