Nice friendly people. I loaded dry can here. You stop on the road at the sign and wait for someone to come out and guide you in. You will stay to right and slowly enter scale. When you hear the horn for forward and make a U turn so you can back to portable dock. After loading you will reweigh then pull off and walk to window for bills. Took about an hour and a half.

I take a lot of scrap here. Price's aren't always good, but it's close to my area. They really need to do something about the aluminum cans/stainless/other similar metals scale area. Very hard to maneuver and worst thing, the yard is extremely hazardous for flats. Got ripped off for $129.60 on a stainless tank and to add insult to injury, the incompetent operator dropped a 2000# tank on my fender and bent it to all heck and broke out my trailer light then came off smart aleck like and said they're not responsible. So I basically got screwed out of more than $300. They don't clean the driveways.

This was my first time at this particular business - and I found them to have fast & friendly service.
I weighed in my loaded vehicle& trailer, followed the signs for the type of material I had to recycle, they quickly unloaded the materials, I weighed in my empty vehicle and trailer, went to the payment window and received payment in cash immediately.
Every person I talked to on the recycle lot was helpful and courteous.
A positive experience, and I would recommend them to friends.

Be ready and alert when unloading scrap. Operators are keen to your movements and are very helpful when reversing to unload. Always an easy, headache free way of making cash.

My truck was damaged (destroyed my windshield) by one of this companies trucks on Texas 105 between Brenham and Navasota. I had at least 7 cracks as a result of this. I obtained a video of the rocks hitting my truck. After flagging the truck down, speaking with the driver, and calling the office I thought that this company would do the right thing. The driver told the insurance company that he was not hauling rocks, so they denied my claim. I then spoke with the general manager of the company who still refused to replace my windshield. It is only about $300 dollars to replace my windshield. If you want to deal with a company that will say whatever needs to be said in order to avoid paying for damage their trucks obviously caused, be my guest. However if integrity is important to you (as it is me) AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. If they will avoid responsibilty for such a small matter, I can only imagine how they would react to larger, more serious matters. If I did not live so far from Brenham, I would pursue this matter in small claims court.
