Did not put any padding/packaging material in the box for my torque converter. The box arrived full of holes and the part was damaged Beyond use. They blamed it on rough shipping, but it was clear that the box was damaged prior to shipment, since the shipping label was applied over an existing hole in the box. Seriously?!?!

Ordered a sleeved throw out bearing on wed. They said there warehouse in Boise had it in stock. I guess they didn't ship it and called again and they said they had to order from another place and shipping would run 20 bucks and be here on Monday. Monday came and went Tyler gave me another story why we didn't get it until Tuesday .Tyler called early get payment which i found really odd before even the part arrived and then charged me 55 to ship it and I called him to ask why and he said deal with it and I asked to speak to his boss and he hung up on me immediately I called back and kept getting hung up on finally the 5th time I called in and got through to the manager and explained my problem and he was willing to work with me so moral of the story don't deal with a shady guy named Tyler he will lie to you and hang up on your phone call repeatedly everyone else there knows what they are doing

I didn't actually have anything done here, which is what makes these guys so awesome! One of the guys there spent at least 30 mins with me (I had the check engine codes read and printed somewhere else). He looked at the codes and took the time to find the needed parts. He gave me some great advice on what my options were, and was extremely friendly. Fortunately I was able to drive my car down to Utah (where I live). If I'd had the time to stay up there, I would have had these guys do the work.

I would like to respond to these poor reviews on behalf of Idaho Transmission. First of all, Empey's needs to clarify all the details of the incident he is referring to in his disappointing review. Empey's had a vehicle in their shop that had an engine that had been changed from what the factory put in originally so the part they ordered and installed was incorrect. In their defense, they may have not known the engine was not the original but the installing mechanic should have compared both parts before installing. By installing the incorrect part, it damaged the part & our manufacturer would not warranty a part that was not defective but was damaged by installer. All of our items have specific warranties offered by the individual manufacturer against defects in material & workmanship. As far as the other two reviews, I have no idea what either are talking about or ever remember them. If there was a valid issue, we do stand behind our products. Installation errors are not warranties. Yes, you can install a release bearing incorrectly. Many people equate a warranty with automatic & total replacement of any part that goes bad for any reason. Once it leaves our premises, it is out of our control how the part was installed or what conditions it was subject to. WARRANTY DOES NOT MEAN AUTOMATIC REPLACEMENT .Our clutches are OEM Valeo and not Chinese import so again, the review about the clutch & the remarks about the Chinese parts is ridiculous . We are sorry that these individuals have such anger and would write such slanderous claims. Idaho Transmission does stand behind their product and has been an upstanding member of the BBB since 1976. If either of these individuals would like to call me directly and discuss this, I would be more than happy to see what the issues were because this is the first time I ever heard of either Destiny or Chris, let alone any problem they had.
