This place just plain sucks. Good luck with getting in touch with Kevin in the (supervisor) warranty department. Been waiting for weeks now and he can not seem to return a phone call or email.
***I was calling Kevin on behalf of my mother who ordered the motor from your company, and Kevin is over the warranty department.***
So update to my claim 145005246, I was told it was denied after almost a month later due to it being the second motor (first one locking up after 1,100 miles), and the second motor lasted about 22,000 miles. Apparently they only offer a one time replacement.
Good luck to future buyers, we will

Company doesn’t honor their warranty, engine failed in January, filed a warranty claim. More than 4 months passed before anyone even tried to contact my mechanic. Told him that they would send a replacement head, 4 months and no part yet. Finally get someone on the phone and they claim they emailed the mechanic (even though they were never given the mechanic’s email address) and now want pictures of the head and cylinders before doing anything more. It’s now been more than 9 months since I filed a claim and nothing has happened. Just bad customer service all around. Once they get your money you’re on your own.

I don’t not recommend the business at all they will call you for a week straight and leave multiple voice messages for you to pay an extra $100 for shipping. But will stop answering your calls and e-mails if you have a problem with the piece you received. I ordered a 2004 town and country Chrysler engine. We thought we had received the wrong piece because the piece was almost unrecognizable and it came with a paper describing a different order. I called and complained about this to about 3-4 different people, but was never told anything. Apparently I did not receive the wrong piece but it is of no use because of its conditions. I want to return the piece and now they are asked for %25 “restocking fee”? And $350 shipping fee. We haven’t even touched the piece but they want us to pay for it.

DO NOT...DO NOT patronize this fraud of a business. Purchased a remanufactured engine for my son's car in Nov of last year The car was intended to be a Christmas gift for my 16 yr old...last year (2021). Here we are a year later and several defective engines later (3 to be exact) and they refuse to return phone calls or help in any way. They took my money, outsourced the product to a third party company and will not do anything to help rectify the issue. Here I am thousands of dollars later and still without a working engine. The "warranty" department consists of one person who did nothing but make excuses, give empty promises and not return phone calls. Kevin (the warranty dept) is no longer employed there and the new warranty person is just as bad. This is a disgrace and Car Part Planet should not be in business. What they are doing should be illegal.

Horrible Company!! Please, look at all the reviews before you purchase. They are fraudsters!! We purchased an engine a few months ago and the bottom end (block) was damaged. The engine was no good. I tried calling and getting a refund but they just kept giving us the run-around. The warranty is garbage!! Don't waste your time with these folks!! Complete scammers!!
