I wonder what it feels like to be so lazy saying a recorded message is way too much work. How does one justify losing customers because "we are closing at 2 today" is just way too much breath to waste. I just said it 5 times in a row and still had enough energy left to finish this review. I may just be superhuman tho because I aslo wheeled some items there in the 110 degree heat and back.

Very bad facility. First You park on the street & go for check in. You need to back up from the street on the scale. After scaling make a left turn then again left turn then again left turn then wait for your turn to back up on dock. There is only 1 open dock. Once you get turn you need to back up from the street to the dock. You gonna see huge pot holes every where all streets when you gonna make left turns to go to dock. The dock is on the corner of the street from where you get enter on the scale. But you need to make left turns to go there. After loading you need to go on the scale again. Road is so busy. You have to block the traffic & go on the scale twice. They put nails on the floor. It's not worth it. They damage the floor. I just give you advice just avoid this place. They load you just in 15 to 20 mins. But it takes long time from check in to check out.

Too tight place. Have to do scale first. For that have to do backup from the street. Then go all the way back to the dock on the other side of the building. Loading takes almost 1.5 Hrs . After that again do backup on the scale.No overnight parking. No clean restrooms.

I have sold all my scrap aluminum and scrapped aluminum mag wheels for the last 14 years here because it's an aluminum mill and pays the highest prices. But you have to know everything is weighed on a tractor trailer scale so you need over 100 lbs aluminum to sell there. Also you may have to wait for 30 minutes or an hour until the tractor trailer scale is available for you to come in.

Newnan Salvage is the cleanest run scrap yard I have ever been to. The staff is willing to help you unload cardboard or metal scrap out of your vehicle were as most scrapyards leave it up to the individual to remove scrap. They also pay a fair market price. Just replaced brakes and rotors on vehicle and thought we would earn a few extra bucks... instead of being customer service friendly, he decided to ask us to donate our metal or to turn around and leave because we didn't have a minimum amount of 250 lbs. We ended up giving them the metal but looking back now... I should have told them to back off (That's the nice way of saying that).

They are the only recycling yard in town, therefore they feel that they can dictate price to you as a customer. I was told by John that he did not want my scrap copper because he thought it was stolen. I did not appreciate the disrespect that was given to me. If you can, please make the drive out of town for all of your scrapping needs.

Hope you have some skills with the wheels. It's muddy, it's tight and little to no room for error. The scale is over 40 yrs old. So with a sleeper you may have to drop the trailer for weight. Other option is to slide tandems you'll just barely get by. The mud puddles will def cause you to slide around. Keep a steady momentum and you'll make it thru. The exit gate is very small. Only 1 truck at a time only 1 dock door

These drivers need to be more careful when they drive. I was driving 50 on slower line, this guy had the gut to horn for 12 seconds scarred my three babies in the back! The road is not yours sir. I even put the signal for long time to merge, the third line was ending, he merged , I tried to merge as well , he wouldnt let me in, I almost crushed, he got very close just so he can scarre me! Scare three babies in the back! My daughter started screaming she felt fear from the truck, he was beeping for so long it was loud. This was yesterday at 12:39 route I-691W . I even got his license plates took a picture of this company!

To start with they wouldn’t answer the phone then when you get you there’s no instructions for first times there and when you ask what to do you get a horrible attitude and you better have good tire tread because they don’t rake up or pick up any small scrap on ground you just have to run it over. I would go back but still horrible customer service.
