Honestly, customer service staff is friendly and great. But, I came in to this used auto shop with confidence buying an engine thinking it was going to run fine since they post online that the engine runs nice and tested good. Clearly that was not the case, my mechanic installed the engine and tested it, turns out it was a bad engine cause it did not give enough compression. I have spend too much time and money with the engine I was sold plus mechanic labor. Not only that if you want your refund they charge 20% which shouldn’t be charged that for selling a customer a bad engine. BE AWARE when buying their used engines.

Called in for a transmission was quoted $700 and when I got there the guy said it they made a mistake and charged me $800.
Bought a transmission still, it was broken. I tried to get store credit but lost the receipt, left the transmission there until I was able to find the receipt. Couldn’t find it, so I just decided to take the transmission and to try to rebuild it.
When I came back to pick it up, they say that’s it’s all the way in the back and to go back later to get it.
I’ve called multiple times since September. I keep getting the same response “it’s all the way in the back I’ll call you when I have it”. It’s December by the time of this review.
Now I’m out of $800 and a transmission.
Hopefully small claims gets them to do right by their customers. They’ll hear from the attorney

I recommend E & J for any used parts that you need for your vehicle. I'm sharing my experience with all of you. I have an small issue with my part and Gorge professionally addressed solving the issue fast with no hesitation.
I know I'm buying used parts from a Junkyard, I'm aware that some imperfections sometimes pop's up. Its something that i have to deal with. The othere choice is going to the expensive autoparts store or deallers. Thats why i was comprehensive and cooperatively in order to solve the unexpected situation the best way for both parties. Thanks E & J team for your professionalism, ethics and honesty . I'll come back whenever i need something again.
