My transmission on my 2010 Audi S4 went out. I was out of any sort of warranty so a brand new 12k transmission from Audi was not an option as that is the value of my car. Transmission shops in my area were incompetent to rebuild it so low mileage used was the only option on the table.
The transmission for these cars are difficult to find as they are rare. I had to dig through every possible wrecking yard in this country to find it.
Todd was very helpful and met every request I had. He provided pictures of the donor car; had it pulled and on a pallet ready for shipping ahead of schedule and prior to my payment. He was willing to negotiate and included extra parts I requested.
The transmission showed up and there was minor damage that would cost a couple hundred dollars to fix. This was due to the shipping company. Todd went out of his way and refunded the cost to fix it while he dealt with the shipping company!
This family owned business treated me right and I have a running car again! They genuinely care and took away much of the stress I was having with getting this car fixed! Thank you from Gig Harbor, WA!

BEWARE OF DECEPTION. Be careful of selling your aluminum to Springfield Iron and Metals: I called twice to confirm the price of my aluminum soffit fascia and gutters. She asked if it was clean...it was clean, aside from the chalking that old aluminum gives off. She quoted $0.30 per pound, $0.08 if it’s dirty. I made sure it was clean!! After I unloaded all of it from the trailer and reweighed my vehicle, she called a guy to the desk who reported it was dirty. Wait...what?! She explained (then) that dirty means that it has non-aluminum screws in it and she would only pay me $0.08/pound because they would have to “clean it”. She said I should have asked and I could load it back up and take it with me. I did ask! She should have informed me when I called and told her what I had to recycle. They are in the business of ripping people off via omission of important details. $11.20 is all they paid me for a trailer full of 140 pounds of aluminum. I expected $42. BEWARE OF DECEPTION.

About 4 months ago I popped a tire and was left stranded with a crying child in the back. In order to get back to town I had to drive on this flat and mess up my rim. The next day I was able to get a new rim and fresh tire so quick and cheap i wondered why I didn't get all 4 replaced at the same time. Not to mention he threw in a batch of lug nuts that he had extra. Nicest people and greatest service I ever experienced at a salvage place ever.
