This place is horribly run and terrible customer service. This new guy who calls himself Sam gets in customers faces, calls them ignorant rude names, and treats everyone as if he's better than them. I was told over the phone the part for my car would be $50 but when I got there he was in my face saying that it's $125 and if I don't like it I can leave. The whole time he was looking down his nose at me as if i stunk. DONT GO HERE THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE!

They offered $300 to salvage my car. Three weeks later I have not received the check. All they will tell me is "it was supposed to go out we need to ask the accountant." Then nobody ever calls back. Edit: the clerical error on their end was fixed and they gave me an extra fifty bucks for the delay.

THIS visit... had FIVE FULL BAGS of aluminum cans=they demanded me to empty the hundred small bags into five of their large industrial cans (took an hour!) THEN paid me $8!!! I prefer this scrap yard instead of the other ones around New Castle County because there is almost never a line, you are in and out fast, and the staff is friendly. Also, I am not scared of getting a nail in my tire because they keep the place pretty clean, unlike alot.of.places I have been. You may getting paid a little more at the place on new castle ave, but when you have to plug a tire after you leave, you realise that the Newport scrap yard is a better option.

I was being helped by associate Starr D she took her time to give me information on the wiper blades l needed explaining why there is a difference in cost and took the time to put them on for me. I’m so thankful for that. And after telling my daughter about her kindness she wants to go to that auto zone and get her assistance as well. Thank you so much Starr D your name truly fits you. T. My experience started out bad when I ordered a part online that said it was available in store for immediate pickup. The next day it was still unavailable. It wasn't till I talked to Starr D that everything got sorted out. Despite a long line of customers and a phone that was constantly ringing she took the time to sort the issue I was having out and was able to send me to another Auto Zone that had an additional part I was looking for. Top notch customer service. If it wasn't for the help I received I may still be waiting for the parts I needed. Someone should give that woman a raise!

This store is by far the worst AutoZone I've been to!! If inventory says they have multiple and he comes back saying they are out. That basically means it's not where it's suppose to be and no extra effort was put forth to even look. I watched him look at the spot and walked back up front. I also had 5 other items and left those right on the counter

I just purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Spark from Nucar and I must say that my experience of dealing with this dealership was excellent. From the manager to the salesperson to the finance manager my experience was wrinkle free. Great price, great mileage, great value great service from everyone here. I would highly suggest anyone looking for a used or new vehicle should use Nucar.

Michael Garber

Zero help with my vehicle the entire time I've owned it. They should have bought it back. Brand new in 2017. Transmission done at 43k and its out at 89k. Guess what it's not warrantied according to them. They turn their back on you and offer no help. 30 times in the dealership for major drive train problems. Sad a suburban that cost 70k can't make it 100k. With the amount of time and money I have lost on this car makes me sick. Government Motors should not have received a bail out. Stay clear of this place.

Sales rep great Sales manager Chris rude! Chris threatened to have me hauled out of his store even after i told him i have Multiple Scerosis and asked him prior to our conversarion please dont upset me. I requested to speak to a higher manager because I was upset that at the last minute the deal changed at the end after 8hrs of sitting at this dealership with my family their and that was his response. I yelled "this is Bs I want a cooperate phone number." After he threatened me I said "ur going to throw me out?" he stated "yea if I have to." I said "thanks for throwing me into a MS attack from the stress", and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Called cooperate and they were more focused on the deal and trying to explain WHY the deal went sour at the end and NOT how I was treated by their staff and how I sat their for 8hrs. I wound up getting a beautiful fully loaded limited edition 2016, with only 30,000miles Dodge Durango with extended 3yr full warranty for a better price and they honored my deal that Nucar rejected at the end. The gentleman who got me the tire was also really nice. I was quoted for $75, but I wasn’t aware they didn’t take AMEX, so they ended up selling it to me for $50 cash. You guys are amazing!!! First time ever having to get a vehicle out towing and every employee there was amazing. Extremely courteous, truck sat so long it need jumped… they jumped it for me let me start it and everything possible to ensure it was still in the same condition and ran just as it did when towed and that no parts were missing and even pumped up one of the tires that was flat. Extremely grateful for them to go out of they’re way to make me comfortable that all was well with the 94 pickup before paying a large 3k+ tow bill.

The only reason I give this place one star and not zero is because of the young woman who helped me with billing. Otherwise, my experience over the phone today was HORRIBLE. Absolutely ZERO customer service skills over something so simple that could have easily been addressed if the guy who answered the phone listened to me and what I needed instead of yelling at me out of frustration from the misinformation one of the other employees gave him. I don’t know if it was the owner or dispatcher but I was in disbelief of the level of unprofessional exemplified. One associate told me one thing and another associate told me another. When I asked why was he being unprofessional and presenting that information to me in such an aggressive manner, before I even got to express the service I needed, he said because I was trying to make things difficult and to stop asking the same question to everyone. He continued to yell and not allow me to clarify the situation, and then hung up on me before I had a chance to speak. I literally asked my question ONCE and the other person didn’t know the answer so they got this guy, the dispatcher or owner, on the line that came off aggressive from the start of the conversation. I didn’t know that asking a simple question about YOUR services was being difficult. I will never ever use this company again. They need training courses on basic human interaction. They haven’t even made it to the level of basic customer service, which they have none of. Lastly, I suggest for the locals to contract with another towing company and not force people to have to use this service if they don’t have to. Never again…
