Didn't shop around so can't necessarily speak on price fairness, however I pointed out that I brought different types of copper material and the man who weighed it refused to do so separately. When I casually tried to point it out the lady at the front desk seemed to hurry me out and ignore my observations. Will avoid continuing business with this business

They take washers and dryers and offer a small amount of money. They also accept fridges which Western Recycling does not accept. Though you won’t be paid for dropping off a fridge it is better than paying to take to a landfill plus its eco-friendly and helps sustain a better environment and economy.

Update to add! They put the damaged bed back up as not damaged! Don't get ripped off. After months of looking for a bed for my husband's truck, we finally found one here. So we hurried and sold the flatbed on his truck and bought the one from Shaws and were super excited! Fast forward over a week later they call to say it is ready. My father in law drives from Blackfoot to Pocatello with a trailer to pick it up for us. After they put it on the trailer he noticed something wasn't right, so he called my husband and sent pictures of the damage. They didn't remove all the bolts before they tried to lift it off the truck with a fork lift and destroyed the bed. Then preceded to try to get away with it, hoping my father in law wouldn't notice when they loaded it. And on top of ALL of this now that we have sold the flat bed that was on our truck we CAN NOT drive it because it has no bed which equals no lights. My husband had plans with it and we are out there a well. So not only did they waste our time and money driving there they have also put us out a vehicle that we NEED! Now we have no idea how long we will be without a truck until we find another bed. I would not in a million years recommend this place to anyone looking for parts at this point!

I want to give a huge shout out to Arnaldo for helping me out. Not only did he help me find an engine he also would call me to remind me about sending over paperwork. I get busy with life but I’m grateful for people like him that make sure you don’t fall behind. I highly recommend buying all your auto parts through Shaw Auto Parts.

Called and ordered a transmission for a vehicle in our shop. I specified year, make, and model, and offered the vin as well. My interaction with the person on the line was pleasant, and I was given 3 options based on price and mileage. The part came in a timely manner, but was incorrect, as I had specified the need for a hybrid vehicle transmission, which this was clearly not. I have called and emailed and still have not received a response about returning the part. I prefer to not leave negative reviews, but I have exhausted all other options of contact. Once the issue is addressed, I will remove this comment.

Absolute lazy workers. Been here for 2 hours. Appointment to unload was 9 o'clock. Got here at 8 untarped and pulled in by nine. An hour later they have gotten 1 bundle off my truck and then pulled me out to load some guy that bought stuff. Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Haven't seen my family in a month. And these guys don't care to unload me. Won't be back. Hope pacific steel shuts this plant down. It's worthless.

The workers are a bunch of lazy guys who have no respect for others time. I sat here over 4 hours to deliver a few bundles of steel. Never will I come back here, and if you don't get deliveries from truckers then you're out of business quick!

This place is a total scam. Took them a 2017 Toyota Rav that my wife hit a deer in. The front was crunched and had been unrepairable for me. They told me that they could only get a couple hundred out of it because it was only possible to scrap it in the condition it was in. Stuck it on Facebook marketplace that evening and had it sold within an hour for $2k (and was told by the shop that bought it that even at a salvage auction it would have sold for $4500) these salvage yards know people don't want a wrecked vehicle in their drive and that most are uneducated as to what value they have and will essentially give them their vehicle. Please try Facebook or ksl or craigslist before taking ANY vehicle here. Let's put these lame shiesters out of business
