Took a trailer loaded with various pieces of junk metal to Pfeifer's yard. He not only paid more than Denver, (where you unload everything but the super heavy pieces by yourself), he unloaded my trailer for me with his magnet. Although his driveways were a little narrow and somewhat rough, there was little traffic to get there and Mr. Pfeiffer himself was very pleasant and easy to deal with. I saw no reason not to return with more business. I did return several times since the first review. Always treated with respect and Ken was generous in working with me. Highly recommend this salvage yard...

My daughter bought a gmc acadia was told every thing worked asked if a/c worked said every thing works it was a great vehicle , did test drive a/c didn't work said it had to be over 40 degrees to work ask if dvd worked didn't have dvd to ck said it worked fine she went and bought the car after getting home dvd didn't work they did fix that temp warmed up a/c didn't work took back charged a/c front a/c worked but back don't first big rain leakes around sunroof bad said they didn't sale her a new car so be careful when dealing at this business

I went here to purchase a tire and rim to use as a spare for my car. They got me exactly what I wanted and at a very reasonable price. They also recommended a place to go for the tire to be mounted on the rim, again, at a very reasonable price. Called in, and was greeted very rudely by someone i think was named "gary". I asked if they had or could find a Volvo S60R i could take some parts off of. He said they didn't have one, but proceeded to ask what parts i needed. I started my sentence by saying "I need driver side windows" and he hung up on me. Seems like a very professional and respectful place.

With my used car being worth more, nterest rates going up, and gas prices I wanted to trade in for a hybrid and hopefully staying within the same payment range. On a trip from KC to Denver, the service department was able to see me the same day when my 4runner started losing power intermittently. Although the original diagnosis was a starter going out, after they ran a diagnostic it was determined the issue was a simple cleaning of the battery terminals. I appreciate the integrity shown by not going ahead and suggesting a new starter (a much more expensive fix). If I lived in Hays, this is where I would take my vehicle.

On a road trip driving from Colorado to South Carolina in our Toyota 4runner we broke down in the middle of the night just outside of Hays. Had it towed to this dealership with an unusual issue. Robert took care of us and was extremely helpful. Their tech diagnosed the issue and Robert had parts on the way right away. They wrapped it up sooner than expected and we continued on to drive ~4500miles the following week. A big thanks to Robert and the crew at Lewis Toyota!

Would not recommend servicing your vehicle here. I had a bad experience twice. I gave them another chance but they failed again. They don’t know how to treat their customers or to keep their word. They will quote you a price but end up asking more because they had a miscommunication. They just don’t treat their customers right. This Toyota needs a major change in their employees and customer service.
