Hands down the best scrap yard in the area , the customer service is good they actually hustle up the more busy they get and to top it off they pay the best on the small scale non-ferrous, and Sam who runs that scale actually thanks his customers for coming in and instead pushing people away at ten minutes to closing time actually goes out and stuffs all the people in who were. There making sure each customer is served instead of like Paul's where you will have door slammed in your face before closing time not once not twice but regularly by Manuel who runs small scale at Pauls and because of how Sam treats his customers I drive ten miles further into Elkhart to go to them instead of Paul's ...thanks Sam you donut sharing joke telling metal stud you !!!

Recently came here having never been to a scrapyard before, to unload some rotors I just took off my car. There is no signage anywhere to detail what you need to do, so I parked and asked a worker, who was pretty rude about what I needed to do. I saw writing that said check in at the trailer, so again, I parked to walk up and talk to the guy in there. The first employee comes out and says you can’t park here, you have to go to the fence line and wait. This would be very simple to have up on a sign, and it should be relatively obvious to the employees that there is no signage, so any non-regulars won’t know the process. Why cop an attitude? I finally got in, trekked through the yard to drop off the rotors, went back over the scale and had that same employee staring me down the whole way through. Talk about uncomfortable. I wasn’t expecting much for the rotors payment wise, but for what I got, I don’t think it will ever be worth coming here again, unless you regularly run loads of scrap through.

They will most likely get you overweight. But they have scales and they will take a bale off if you ask them . In my case i was suppose to get 44000lbs and empty weight was like 33800 when i entered with empty tanks. When i was getting out it was 79780 so its almost 46000 lbs. i explained that i empty on fuel they took one off. So it was like 44500 lbs.
