Two stars now, not specifically for this specific location, but the LKQ company as a whole. I've been going to U-pull-it for years then LKQ bought out the company and all the locations in Chicagoland and renamed it LKQ pick-your-part . There used to be a half price day once a week and half price holiday weekends. Prices were exceptionally reasonable for the most part. Overall nice customer service. The problem I have with LKQ now is once upon a time they had a online membership, and email alerts called a "garage" that they abandoned soon after it was developed. They got lazy. Then the entry fee went to $3. After that the prices just artificially gouged way higher in 2022. Another problem no other junk yard does is pay extra now for a warranty!? WHO DOES THAT! Industry standard is a set price with a warranty. So not only did they increase prices way high, but you will buy the part as is no return unless you pay EXTRA FOR A WARRANTY!! Sorry after 20 years of going to LKQ and spending thousands a year at all of the locations around Chicago and the one in Rockford, I'm now shopping around for better yards with better prices. This is a rob. Absolutely disappointed in pushing the limits to rob customers pockets. Disappointed ain't even the word, maybe frustrated, aggravated, maybe simply mad. The current business model is junk. These corporations are simply price gouging and that's a dishonor to being a good business.

Great service and reasonable prices. Contact Victor for great service. I bought a rear differential for my 2016 Nissan Rogue (part has a six month warranty)and ordered the intake manifold. They had the rear differential in stock and was able to pick up same day. They do offer delivery service (extra charge,) to the auto shop of my choosing. For the intake manifold Victor had to order it and I received a call from him letting me know my part had been delivered, only took 3 days which is fast. I am very please and will continue doing business with them.

I bought a door assembly for Camaro from this seller. The seller sent me the door with defects, without some fuzzy details. I had to buy a separate interior panel and door hinges. I sent the seller pictures of what he sent me and he does not react to it in any way. Be careful when you buy from him. I had to spend an additional $ 150, because he sent me with defects and the lack of parts that were in the description. Supplement, on September 16, the seller refunded the money for the defective product. For this I am grateful to him.

Most junk yards will sell an engine or transmission even if the are not sure if they really work... what do they have to lose right? Nothing.
