The bad one star reviews for this business is unfair.
Like one that looks like it was left for us by mistake and looks as if it was supposed to be for our neighbor instead. Google will not do anything about it.
One of the reviews... We do not know this person. We have never done business with him. He is the one who is being mean and rude to us and there is nothing that we did to this guy to deserve this kind of treatment.
Guy's review, says his vehicle was at Tempe Town Lake, not even a half mile from us. Just being that near to where he was at, Jack would of driven over there just to see what he could do to help the guy out. Even if we couldn't buy his vehicle, my husband would of found someone that could of helped him instead.
This business has been providing these (junk removal, auto salvage, and...) services for 15 plus years, before that automotive services for 30 plus years. This business has good reviews on Angies List, Fixer, Yelp, and a couple other sites. This company has been in service for a long time. They always answer their phone. If they can't themselves be of service to what a person needs, they have lots of resources, and will give that person suggestions and or information that will be much better service to that person. Wether it be getting rid of a vehicle, looking for an auto part, even junk removal, auto repair, clean up, or....

Went here today expecting to receive about $0.60 per pound for my approximately 35 pounds worth of aluminum cans (around $20 worth). They weighed my cans and purposefully hid weight scale read out from me.
They waved me over to the window where I received a measly $7.60 for 19 pounds of cans. I asked an employee what was going on and he told me "It used to be $0.60 but now it's $0.40 per pound" No offer to reimburse the difference was given; no proof of weight of the cans either. After this, the employee told me "You can get a dollar per pound just down the road here".
Absolutely ridiculous. Basically a scam operation. None competitive pricing, waste of space business. It's like they are asking to go out of business with this attitude.
NEVER come here. I feel sorry for anyone who does.

Call in and you'll talk to Jack. Jack likes to yell into the phone in a belligerent rage. Then he willing hang up on you! It Is quite the trip.

When I called this place, I found that Who Gives A Scrap really dont give a crap. Their name says it all. On the phone was when I had my first and only incounter with them...... I called to inquire about scrapping a truck with no title. First, I didnt get a warm welcoming hello followed by a rude indefinite answer to my question. Some old guy responded with a maybe. Ok. Fine. What really made me give them one star is that when I told him that I was in Phoenix, my truck is near tempe town lake, and that it wasnt to far away from him...... he cuts me off with, "your truck is there, you are where you are, and im at home, what do you want me to do about it?" Wow. Seriously? I was speechless. Hey old man, take my advise and spend a couple bucks on getting a Secretary. Good luck treating people better in the future.
